FS: Announcing the new VB911R Alloy Rear Calipers

We had a few pairs of these at the All Porsche Swap and the Lit Show. We're back and in production. These are shipping now gang.

For years we received the questions; "What calipers do you have to lighten the rear of my 911?"... and lets face it, if there was any place you would want to remove weight from your 911 it would be unsprung and in the rear.

Announcing the VB911R rear caliper from PMB Performance. Designed to be a direct bolt on caliper, these VB911R calipers have the best of all the calipers of that era. They're much lighter weighing in at just 2lb 12oz (compare that to 6lb 4oz for the stock unit!). These will take 7lbs of unsprung weight off the rear of your car!

The piston and the pad remain the stock factory size to maintain proper bias in the rear (the last thing you want in a rear engine car is to be biased heavy in the rear). Fluid inlet is the same. The pistons are the later "cup" type that allow for more surface area and less mass for better cooling. The fasteners have been upgraded to M8 vs. the original M7 to reduce caliper flex. The pistons and the caliper are both hard anodized so they are actually harder than their steel and stainless steel counterparts... all you do is bolt them on and enjoy the ride!
