    crossmember protective plate

Hello I have looked on Pelican, early S , and restoration design sites. I am looking for the edge covering for the plate that covers the front steering assembly and the fuel line connection on the rear of the gas tank on a 72E Targa, any info would be appreciated. I am removing the tank to clean and flush the fuel lines after rebuilding the carbs. I would also like any input on flushing the fuel lines. I was thinking of using fuel system cleaner and use the fuel pump to circulate it through the lines.
    Thanks

Are you referring to the suspension pan seals?
