    901 Flywheel Finish



    Does anyone have details have how the copper was applied to the friction face of the 901 Flywheel.

    I assume it was electroplated but how was it masked.

    I relaise Copper will palte onto steel without creating an electrochemical cell but deposits of this type are not ususally durable.

    I would have thought flame or plasma projection...

    Perhaps the machining was done after plating. It sort of depends on how sharp the edges are.
