Is this a repro and would it have been used on a 356C?

The Durant mirror you show is an Original.
The Three Star Logo Marking is placed with the lower two stars deep into the Made in Germany Half Circle that is in the form of a Smile.
Repros either have no Logo Markings or show the Stars outside of the Made in Germany Smile.
The Stamped Logo is the same on both the Small and the Large Durants
This Durant is correct for 356 C Models as well as SWB 911/912 Models.

Can you replace the mirror yourself if it has too many spots? Can you post some more photo's of the mirror? If it is in decent shape, I would like to buy it. Thanks - Dick
