One year only 1968 Recaro Sport Seat with headrest, sliders and factory tilt bracket. Completely rebuilt about four years ago by Howard Cox of Cox's Upholstery & Trim in Fort Worth, Texas using German black leather supplied by Autos International. The leather is in excellent condition and is perfectly broken in. Asking $4300 or best offer. Price drop to $3500 or best offer.

    Thanks,

Beautiful seat. For my edification, is this missing a hinge, or did these come like this in 68?

All of the early sport seats were like this. The fore/aft adjuster handle is part of the seat base on the right side and the backrest adjuster is on the left side. The tilt bracket release is on the right side for the passenger side, but the seat itself is the same left or right.
