    Smugglers Box Question

    When you open the smugglers box lid, ther is a triangle shaped tab protruding from below the seal channel with a slotted hole in it. Can anyone help me with"
    1) What was it used for?
    2) How is it attached?
    3) Does anyone have one I can buy?

    Dave, pretty sure that was a mounting tab for gas heater component.

    I think you are correct Ed. I think the Webasto fuel pump bracket bolts to it. OK...mine was probably cut off when they put AC in the car. Anyone got a parts car that they can cut this out of?

    That's the rubber cap for the air duct. Part # 902 572 571 20

    Funny enough, I keep a hockey puck up front to use as a pad for the floor jack.
