The Grun Holle is officially for sale...

only 160 million bucks. to be honest, seems pretty reasonable to me....amazingly it includes the smaller circuit, the museum, everything.

I wonder if this could be a good thing to see a resurgence of motorsport there? I've driven it and ridden on it a few times, and its a brilliant amazing place. Whatever happens, I hope the local economy and culture doesn't suffer too much as that was one of the best parts of the area.

I too have driven it. Absolutely amazing. The entire time all I thought about were the great races held there, and the great drivers that drove there! I hope there is a resurgence, as you noted.

I've suggested that we get together and buy it !!!

or, maybe Porsche should, it would be the ultimate Poresche Experience Center ?

Add me to the list who have driven it. It was 1967 and I had similar feelings.

Should be declared a National Monument before it becomes a housing development.

I go regularly to see the Old Timers Grand prix in August, fantastic race with loads of Porsche participation, and have done several track days on it. It is a very special place for me and most of the petrolheads that I call friends.

Everytime I go there is plenty of car atmosphere, so it should not be too hard to make a profitable business out it.

I think the thing that really surprised me were the elevation changes. Its something that doesn't remotely come across on playstation/xbox.
