Fuel pump holder and sway bar mounts painted black or body color in 73?

The fuel pump cradle that is welded to the chassis, as well as the rear sway bar mounts, are painted black on my car. The remainder of the underside is body color. Is this correct? All of the (over) restorations I have checked have these painted body color. I wonder how the "blue chip restoration" car was painted?

I just went out and checked my 1973.5 911T. It was originaly painted body color, but has black undercoating over it. I can't say for sure, but it seems like one of the previous owners had the bottom of the car and wheel wells sprayed with undercoating over the white paint.
