    Date codes on Bilsteins?

Are there date codes on the Bilstein strut? There are a variety of unknown numbers stamped in various places, and some cast in, but I can't make sense of any of them. I'm looking at a Bilstein shock absorber strut housing with part number 911.341.042.32, similar to what is in this restoration thread:

What are the various numbers in reference to? Thanks.

    Ryan
