FS: NOS 72-73 rubber shift boot

FS: NOS still in the box shift boot for cars equipped with a 915 transmission. A bit dusty but perfect - still has factory paper stuffed in it.

    $50 shipped CONUS.

Don't know, it looks identical to the one I had in my 72. My friend's 84 has a leather boot.

I believe that is a 73 boot, and that 72 is different (no ribs). Anybody able to confirm?

1972 used a one year only shifter that looks like a 901 shifter but has different guts. The 73 tower is the same to 1986 when the G50 came to town.

The boot in the picture is for the 73-86 tower.

ttt, price adjustment, I have no need for it. Seems to be correct for 73 through 83. 1984/ Carrera was the introduction of the fancy leather boot.
