    Rear Deck Lids Schooling

    I'm looking for an education on correct rear deck lids by year. I have an assortment of styles and years on my projects. The Duck Tail is going on a '69 RS project. The one with the "split" grill came off a '68 but I'm not sure it is correct for that year. The bright yellow one came off a '69, but again, not sure it's correct for that year. The orange one is not attached to any car presently. These came with 2 grills, one a 3 bar grill and the other a 6(?) bar grill (has 2 in the center, which came off the '68). Appreciate the impartation of the vast knowledge on this forum.     Great post! It will be nice to get some final answers. I have been told this style decklid is for 68.5-69 since it does not have the support tabs for later style 5 bar grills found on 70+ cars.However I have seen the tabs on 68.5-69 cars.It makes sense to me that it is a 68.5-69 decklid with the 3 bar grills.
