What tires do like I have 185/70 r 15 now?

I finally got my 1969 911 E 90% sorted out, 6 months in the shop and now it is running well. Very fun car to drive around town in but my tires are in awful shape and dangerous. The car never ran well enough before but now the tires are a serious liability. I was told 195 65s 15 would be a good choice what do you all recommend?

Glad to hear you've got the car sorted out.
There are plenty of threads on tire choice, just try searching the forum.

Will 195 65 15 work, the wheels are cookie cutters so I'm not concerned about correctness. My car needs some more mechanical issues addressed and a interior restoration. So I just one some decent tires for drivers.

That size will work just fine, have them on two of my cars, Goodyear Eagle GT's, and they are 'V" rated.
