    Hidden OEM color under dash.

I started repair on my dash and what was my surprise when I notice that I could remove the black paint on the dash and there it was the original color!!
Now my car has a 8080-H code that it was Mach to a 925 but if I compared it to this color it's about 90% correct. The question is, Should I keep the paint as it was given to me by DuPont or should I Mach it to the one found in my dash?

80 is silver, and it is a hard color to match. I believe it is color # 924 that year, later it was 925 then 936 so the formulas kept changing.
Besides that, the dash and other interior panels did not get a full coat of paint, so it might be hard to match something that was not truly representative in the first place. My suggestion would be to go with what has been provided.
