Thanks
I just add some more pics / Info
Because sometimes I wonder, when I see all these high end and expensive engine rebuilds ,
Then I see they use there old tank, many of which have corroded over the years.
this tank is copper plated as org, it is bespoke made for 911 RSRs and allows cars to run at least 10% more oil than a standard 911 oil tank.
The downside is carrying the extra weight of 2 litres of oil :-) but more oil means a much lower oil temperature

Marek, the tank is so nice, that i would even buy it just to show it off !

I agree! Beautiful part and would look good as wall art as much as in a car. Very nice.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is the purpose off the blow off valve ? it's connected to what ?
Thanks !

It's also called an Oil Pressure Relief Valve (Thermostat) Allows cold oil to initially flow back to the oil tank, rather than forward to the oil cooler. Thick, cold oil would damage the cooler. Wonderful parts Marek. Wish they were available when I built the Sunoco Car :-)
