I recently saw a later dash by these guys that looked very good.

Might want to give them a call. BTW... I recently bought a car that I believe was restored by you many years ago.

Keep in mind that when Tony (or anyone else) recovers the dash, you are left with a seam running along the region where the flat surface ends and the "visor" part starts.
Tony does excellent work, you just need to expect the stitched seam.

I don't see the seam here:

    Or am I wrong?

The best I've found is George Baloian of Levon's Mobile Upholstery in Reseda, CA. (818)438-7299 or (213)999-9914

    No BS seam...

Here's an example of the seam on a leather dash. The issue is that nobody can correctly vacuum-form the vinyl over the curves of the dash as was done on the original. To my knowledge, the only way to restore a dash w/o the seam is to buy a repop.
I'm certainly open for correction here if anyone knows otherwise.

The dash on Pelican is one of ours and is a swb dash, which doesn't require a stitched seam. You can recover a lwb dash without a seam too, but it will lift in this area eventually, no BS. We have the correct templates for swb and lwb speaker grills as well, and we have lots of happy customers if you ask around on Pelican.

    Ah. Of course.

If you want to upgrade to a leather dash, option BITD, the seam is correct. I've owned two 2.4 cars with factory leather dashes and both had the seam. Smells good too!
