    Just back from Copperstate 1000

Finished my 1971 911e just in time to ship to Arizona for the Copperstate 1000 last week. I am very happy to report that the car made it all 1000 miles with no issues. We ran through heavy rain, snow, 50 mph winds, and a hell of a lot of tumbleweeds. We were able to keep up with most of the pack (except for the obvious straight line speeds of big block cobras, ford gt 40, and purpose built track cars). Unbelievable line up of Carrera RS's, various early S cars, and 356's. I highly recommend this event to all on this forum. I am posting a few pictures of my car from last week. I hope you all enjoy.

P.S. I need some of new correct Porsche script for the car. Body shop ordered the wrong stuff... Any help on this would be appreciated!!

Great pics! Nice memories. I did the Copperstate 5 times in the 90's in my 356 Speedster. Great scenery, fun cars, and terrific people. What can be better! Too bad your car is too new for Colo. Grand. Another great one.

Now that looks like a rally I'd like to join. I'll keep my eye out for next year.

Did you meet my great friend John Barrett? In his Yellow Ferrari Lusso? From Athens Ga. I really want to attend that event. Tate

    Tate-
I have met John. I met him for the first time last year in the Copperstate I was driving my 73 orange Pantera, I was then and still am absolutely in love with that Lusso. I especially love his Gulf/Ferrari rally stopwatches! He is a fun guy and a true gentleman.

Scott, thanks for the heads up!
