    1966 911 wiper help

Finishing up my 66 coupe 304014. Looking at 100's of photos and nothing concrete. Which side of the car should the wipers park? I see cars on both Pass and drivers. My old pic's show pass side but the blade seems too long. What do you guys think?
    Thanks in advance

Bob, they park on the starboard side.

    No flares on our cars!

Drivers side wiper parallel to the WS trim. Pass side wiper at an up angle - 25- 30 degrees. this according to the old pics I've seen. Wiper arms are different for each side - get them correct.

Respectfully, they park on the passenger side until 1968. In rain and snow, a steady stream of water runs off the passenger-side wipers UP the windshield at speed. Hence, they reversed the parking position, so that the stream runs off to the sides, out of the driver's vision.

Absolutely right about the different arms for each side.

Well, he already had the correct answer about sides - pretty common knowledge that they're on the pass side till '68. If he has correct blades, the problem with the passenger side wiper blade being too long is the angle I mentioned - or maybe he has the arms swapped.

    Thanks guys,
I will check the arms and blades to see if swapped by mistake.

I wanted to revive this old thread in regards to my 67 produced early MY 68. When I installed my wipers to the drivers side, the wipers when turned on proceeded to wipe towards the hood. I then reversed the wipers to park on the passenger side like the MY 67. Now they operate as they should. Is there something wrong or is it this way because I have a 67 produced MY 68?
