    swb lock post fabrication to modify new sheet metal - confirm dimensions please

    Hi,

    this week is hopefully the last of the welding on my 68S. have just realised that the modern non-deck release lock post needs to be modified, from pictures we have determined the following shapes but would be grateful if someone could confirm the measurements from their original.

    please see the cardboard template pictures below, help with dimensions appreciated.

    This is the only reference to this area that I have. It is a NOS fender for the short wheel based cars from 1964 thru 1968.
    Note it has reference indent for the oil lid release - but that didn't happen until the model year 1972??

    These were the factory replacement panels from about 1979-80.
