I must tell you that you are wrong

A friend of mine purchased the car. It was a spanish 911, imported from Germany as there were no Porsche dealers in 1972 and have the 3 books completely new!

He lend me the books to be replicated (the only one impossible to do perfect was the Technical Specifications, but I have a PDF file with the full scan and have no problem to share it as free). The books are perfect. Unless they were 72-73 models for spanish market though they came in english

The car have the TUV document in 2004 when the car was registered as Historic Plate

There´s a date (mo/yr) of printing in the maintenance record booklet which should clarify this.

Pics of your drivers manual show the date (III/72), you should find similar type of date from the maintenance record booklet also.

Yes, your right! But this 911S 2.4 came with the books showed

I don't need to search for another different book as they are the ones which are period correct

The "Drivers manual" (printed Germany III/72 Edition 72) you have is correct.

The maintenance booklet (1965-1973) is a replacement and was later added.
For warranty reasons, all "Maintenance booklets" received dealer or importer stamps, they never got empty when a car was sold. For RoW cars, a "Service book" with European dealer adress (including Spain) was provided too.
Your replacement booklet was added to the car in 2004, when the owner got the car TüV'd from Germany.

In 1972 Spain had the following importer:
Auto Porsche. Importaciones Espanola SA, Madrid 16

In 1972, Spain had four dealers:
Werner B.Heiderich, Auto Porsche, Madrid 16
Garage Hispnao Americano S.L., Puerto Santa Maria
    D.Carlos Kotnik Goriup, Sabadell/Barcelona
    Josef Wachschütz, San Sebastian

This car wasn't imported from germany in 2004.
The TUV means that the owner changed the spanish plate to the Historic Plate. This allows you avoiding anual city taxes, anual TUV inspections, and can receive a special insurance cheaper Historic Condition.

    I know what you mean.

(I have that book too but not from this car). I purchased it to an english man who replicate it 100% match.

    Regards from Spain

I have a 1973.5 CIS coupe with an empty maintenance folder. Are the inserts available? Any one have one for sale?

The ones Porsche sells is a spiral bound booklet that appears to be an after market replacement (I think)

If you dont have the original maintenance folder, you can order the factory replacement, as pictured in post 3.
There was once was an UK guy who reprinted the original inserts, but so far I dont know any insert reprints available.

That maintenance books is a work of art. James Felsing is the name of the "artist". I really appreciate it
