FS: NOS Aluminum Rear Deck Lid

That is correct. This baby has never been on a car. Still in the original factory primer. Even has one of the original stickers on it. It is possible that this might be the only one of these left out there. It probably should be hanging in a museum somewhere. It has no flaws, those white spots are just where the primer has come off. I could have touched them up but decided it was best to keep it 100% as it came from the factory. I discovered it a while back in a Canadian barn, believe it or not, with a bunch of other NOS body panels from the late 60s and early 70s. The extremely nice guy had been a German authorized repair shop back in that time frame and closed his shop over 25 years ago. He took all of his stock and stored it in his nice dry barn. My good fortune that he also has a home in Florida during the winter and we connected. The rest as they say is history. We have become very good friends and I took a roadtrip to Canada last summer and loaded up the entire stash. Needed some of them for my own restoration projects, but I will post some of the other items as well. Let me know if there is something specific you are looking for and I will see if I have it. I have been debating about just keeping it, but decided to offer it up to this community.

I will package it up safely and securely for shipment if needed, insure it appropriately, but would prefer to deliver it just to be safe. I have seen posts where people quoted prices in the $10-12K for such a piece. So how about $7500 includes shipping to lower 48 and I will deliver it to you if you live within a days drive, anywhere in Florida, southern parts of Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama or Mississippi. Or maybe we meet half way if you are outside of this area but close. If you want it, buy it and we can work out the logistics. Thanks guys!

Interesting how the pricing has evolved over the years. I payed $6500. For one a few years back...it did come attached to a 69S though, at the time I thought I over payed.
