    Floorpan - Difference between 911 and 930?

    What's the difference between 911 and 930 (Turbo) floorpan?

    Has anyone here got a photo that shows the difference?

    I can take a picture of a bare 930 pan if you want to see how the rear mounts for the front lower control arm are raised a bit...

    This is the RH pickup. Might be a little confusing as the pan is standing on the tail. Rough estimation is that the rear pickup is 20mm higher than "normal" based upon how much the pan stamping is indented.

    Can the pickup mounts be easily lowered to 911 specs or is it difficult?

    Moving them would probably be very difficult. Just keep them this way, built in anti dive.

    The built in anti-dive is interesting. However, I think the Turbo also had a different rear cross-member (because of shorter rear trailing arms?), so if you use the turbo front set-up, you will probably also need the short rear trailing arms as well, otherwise maybe the car will not handle well?

    I'm curious to know why the 930 had a different chassis set-up to the 911 though.
