    Calling all Marken Weltmeister decal gurus!

    My 2.2S is chassis number 0029, so one of the earliest model 1971 builds. It was delivered into Australia in September 1970 so they must have got cracking on it right after they got back from Summer break.

    When I bought the car it came with a nicely faded 69/70/71 Marken Weltmeister sticker in the rear quarter window. However, based on searching past threads here I'm starting to think that this might be incorrect and the car should actually have the 1969/1970 windscreen sticker.

    Is there any definitive cut off when the factory switched?

    Thanks!! I know it's a OCD, but I'm now haunted by the thought that I have the wrong sticker and Porsche gurus snicker whenever I drive past . . . .

    It may have made better sense to place it on the rear quarter window because front windshields tends to have
    less life span of various reasons.
