    Info on early engine lid

Wanted to know which years this engine lid is for, my guess is '69 to '73 but I am not sure (has the license plate lights) came off a 911S. Also lid still has its original paint on it and I am not familiar with the color it is sort of a light silver green metallic, does anyone know this color?

I think it is #227 Jade Green! Which is a 72-73 color.

Jade metallic is much darker than what that lid appears.

Hood is correct for '69 to '73? So has to be a color from those years correct? Ice green sounds right but I don't see it listed untill later years.

'69 models utilised a 3-bar grille so had a different engine lid - which makes yours a '70-'73 version.

What makes you sure it's original paint ?

If it is, then it could have been a 'special order' colour.
