Moderators send confusing signals regarding language in threads

"Jesus Christ" used in derogatory fashion is ok but the word "scrotum" gets removed?
Honest question: What is this forum's standard for censorship?

As I read it, Frank didn't criticize the removal of that word, he's just trying to clarify "editing" standards.

I'm not sure it is common, but the use of such terms are not sensored on these forums. You can read through and see the colorful language being used in some of the threads. You can use the search feature if you feel like there's too much reading for you.

    WFC?
    what is the problem?

There was only one* Jesus Christ, and half* the population has a scrotum.

*Depending on what head space of theological revelation individual is absorbed.
** its really closer to 48% of the population due to wars and those that drive sissy cars.

John hit it on the head. Trying to clarify so we're all on the same page.
As for scrotum being a sexual term... you've got to be kidding. It's an organ that's part of the human body and its context had nothing to do with sex. What are we: A bunch of squeamish school girls?
(BTW: If we're going to play this no sex/religion/politics game we all might as well shut down now. Most of what we do in life is related to these three areas.)

As far as "aiming for class": The local chapter of brandy sniffers and cardigan collectors is a different forum. Taking oneself too seriously leads to constant diarrhea and a shorter life.

There was only one* Jesus Christ, and half* the population has a scrotum. LOL!!!! CidTito, you made my day.

What about the elephant hide tool bags origin...looks a little soft for most parts of a wild elephant`s hide.......on PBS
I have one that is soft and supple. I`m guessing it came from the `trunk` of the elephant as that is where it is usually placed in a Porsche car!

Very funny. I once went to a bar in Houston, where they sold handbags behind the bar, made out of... Bull scrotum. "Saco de Toro" they called them. They were hard as a rock. Needless to say, I didn't get one for my wife.
