Are these aftermarket seats? These are not 1973 sports seats!

ad says UP TO 1973 so he is not saying they are 73 seats.

They look correct to me no price listed for the tilts though

I agree Clyde, look like pre '72. D shaped head rests as opposed to peanut for '72-'73
'73 would also have double lockers
Id say the real up to late '71, the car they are in also has the badge on glovebox, another giveaway to pre '72... if they are the original ones out of that car

    Seller claims they're from a '71 car.

Seats are on ebay at 3,950 euros (minimum bid) and seller wants an additional 2,350 euros for the mounts for a total of 6,300 euros. Or $8,250 after exchange. I was interested but not at that price.

Only late 73 had the double lockers post late Jan I believe both of my original 73 RS cars had only single locker seats both first series RS so nov dec 72 builds

Those are 72 style tilting frames. The stock went into the 73 model year. I have seen twin lockers on November and December 73 cars. But as with many things Porsche there are many variances in the exact date.

The seats are absolutely original, no reproductions.! It is a unique opportunity to get such a beautiful couple.
