    FS: 1966 Porsche 912 1 owner survivor

I had an evil thought, if someone was restoring a 65 911 then they should buy this car and swap over all the parts. It would be a shame to dismantle this car OR if you want an accessory car to you Porsche collection then this is a way to get into a short wheel base car at half the price of the exact same 911.

    1966 Porsche 912
    1 owner survivor, not restored
    Matching numbers
    CA black plate car
    Never rusted
    Never abused

$40,000 or make me an offer. Mark 760-522-0090

That is very nice, Mark. Love the OG paint in an unusual color, and seats that look like well cared for baseball mitts. GLWTS.

I was thrown off for a second. I saw a '68 one with the identical color in Orange County today. The plates are different...and the one today was full of rust inside.

This one is absolutely rust free, something you never find. It has all the original insulation in it and the car drives so quietly.

At cars and coffee this morning a few people threw out allegations that the tool kit was wrong and the seats had been dyed but once you stare at it for a while you realize how right this car is and NO it really has not been touched. Now the car was painted and if it was original faded paint I would have already sold it (funny how that is), you have to figure paint was cheap back then so everyone went out and painted a car when any wear came through, sure they did not notice that the re-paint was not as good as the oiginal but that is what people did. I wish I could find a 911 survivor like this, but hey, we do what we can.

I was the first person called on this car through one of my old Salesman at the dealership I used to manage. The original owner is tickled pink at the resurrection and pictures I took. He wants to meet whoever buys the car and tell them how much the car meant to him. As far as price, anyone seeing it here don't be shy - throw out an offer, I might just take it. You have to start somewhere in pricing and you can't go up.

I will trade for a 1965 911 in any condition - plus or minus.
