Where are you located? If in the US you have already got what you need. If in Europe, there might be some other possibilities.

I used to have an MFI in my engine.

Interacting with shops that will do that can restore/rebuild/repair is recommended but there is the option to avoid staggering specialist costs.

But if you are a DIY kind of guy, I saw a book covered in ESSES called PORSCHE 911 MECHANICAL FUEL INJECTION PUMP covers the 1969-1973 MFI. The step by step book written by Michael J Burgess which covers an at home solution in restoring the MFI. He shows how hardened oil deposits which damages bearings and seals can be extracted and rebuilt though high quality images and step by step processes.

Please note however, that he also states that it will require that you have a machinist to fabricate a Flyweight Puller and a Delivery Valve Extractor to complete the job. However once you have those fabricated extractors in your workroom, you will be able to finish the job and you can have the idealist satisfaction to have something like this completed from your home or shop.

LV911...Mark Jung is the man I reached out to with mine. He has halted bringing work into his shop, until October of this year. So, if I continue having issues, I guess I'll drive my GMC Envoy all summer .

+1 for Gus if you're having only the pump done.
Throttle bodies can be done by Eurometrix
