I just acquired a 1967 911S with a twin plug engine and am new to the Registry. I'm sure this question has been asked and answered in the past but what plugs would work best for 100 percent street use and minimal plug fouling?

W250P21 if you've got money to burn. Otherwise the NGK equivalent is fine (BP7ES). Check for clearance by rotating the engine with a plug inserted.
The 2 liter cars like to spool up. Happiest above 3K. In an S even happier past 4,500!!!

Hello
I rebuild my 2.0S engine with twin plug. (I've made a DIY distributor based on a 2.7 one.) I've just check head volume and piston clearance.
With NGK BP8ES I haven't enough clearance to piston ( my goal is 10,5:1). So I'll put B8ES (around 3mm lower).
About fouling, do you use original point/coil/condenser sytem, electronic amplifier (such as Ignitor) or Capactive discharge sytem?
Thanks everyone for the information.
Although the 911S is very new to me I've owned over 25 Porsches since 1967 including about a dozen 356s. I currently race a 911SC in PCA Club Racing and own Carl's Place in Las Vegas, a 39 year old Porsche only repair shop. Anything I can help with just let me know.
I just purchased the 911S from the second owner. It is unrestored with one original-color light ivory repaint probably 25 years ago, excellent interior and all numbers matching. I'm not sure yet if it hasn't been upgraded to 2.2 or 2.4 jugs but it's twin plugged with Bosch CDs and coils. The Webasto gas heater and dealer installed factory A/C are still in the car. The elderly PO sold it to me because he didn't want to spend any more money maintaining it. The original chain tensioners were collapsing, the starter motor was dead, the flywheel was missing most of the teeth on the starter ring and a few of the brake caliper pistons were frozen. I've already taken care of all of those issues. I'll post some pictures as soon as I can.
Love it!
Is that a beige interior? I think there were two light browns...beige and tan but not sure. If it's original beige I'd really appreciate some more pics of the interior when you get a chance.
Congrats on your purchase
Yes, it's beige and original. I'll take some good photos of the interior and post them soon. Driving new Porsches at Fontana tomorrow and a Club Race in Buttonwillow all weekend.
I'm curious how they managed to get both the gas heater and AC in together. Usually the evap had to go in the smuggler's box.
