The oil cooler is mounted on the motor unless it has the optional front ( inside right fender ) cooler
T's usually don't run hot unless they are modified....

In case a few pics help here is an external cooler set up on a 73 T we are restoring. The cooler is a one year only part, we make these as well as the long lines.

And you would see two pipes running along the bottom edge of the right side of the car, below the door, that goes to this trombone up front.

And of course the '73 specific external thermostat and associated pluming.
Be prepared to shell out some $$$

Keep in mind that this was a somewhat rare US option on a T. Unless its on your COA or you want a period exact system, there are other (some argue more functional) cooling options.

Great pictures. Are their any indentations or markings in the sheet metal that indicate where to make holes under the car for the oil lines under the rocker panels or up in the wheel well? This is for a '73 as well.

    Thanks,
    Neil

    Alan,
What is the cost for the replica cooler and long lines? Any idea how costly shipping would be to the east coast of US?
    Thanks
