Question: Is there now a need for a Concours sub-forum

I'm seeing a LOT more concours/NOS/correctness related threads than ever before. It seems that we've hit that phase in the early 911 lifecycle.

I tend to think of "Technical" questions as more related the runnings of these cars, so the thought has crossed my mind that a dedicated section would help make finding correctness related info easier and declutter the technical and general forums.

I don't disagree but I think the amount of forum traffic is not so high to warrant too much subdivision. Too many forums result in too many judgment calls about where to put things and will reduce the velocity of the subforum.

I would like to see an originality library like the 356 folks have to archive much of the good stuff in a single location.

I would also like to see a detailing forum that is specific to our cars, that would be a lot of fun.

I like the idea of an 1) originality forum, 2) a market place discussion forum.
