    CORBEAU bucket seat original 60īs/70īs

Hi Guys i have this CORBEAU GT8 bucketseat that all i know is that is from late 60īs/70īs and for the age is in super-original condition, it look like NOS, anyway my dought is that should be apropriated for a PORSCHE 911 rally/racing car, itīs like very rally/historic rally style, i have this add from 70īs magazine that you can see them advertizing, can someone put some input here.

    all the best

    Paulo

Hi joelplan, yes they look like a GT8, but with just one seat belt hole!!But as i have seen on internet, maybe vintage edition were that way this is what i found out.

'GT8' high-backed competition car seat with tubular steel frame and PVC cover. Designed by Colin Folwell and made by Corbeau Equipe Ltd.

Had a pair of GT8s in one of my Bugs back in the 1970s. They definitely only had side slots for harnesses back then. Yes, they're still available today but to me they look a bit clumsy in a 911. I prefer the style of the GT4s from Corbeau, but they don't have the harness slots, though.

I have a pair of Corbeau 'Classics' and had them retrimmed:
