    Widening fuchs for RSR

I have collection of 16" x 7 Fuchs and have noticed that most, if not all, of the places that widen, seem to want 6's. Is there a particular reason for this ? Am I boned because I have several sets of 7's and now will need 6's which I only have one set of ? I don't see any obvious reason why the 7's can't be used

The center of the 6 is flat, so it's easy to cut out and weld (or bolt) into a new barrel of any size/offset your heart desires. Additionally, they are the preferred center for 17" diameter conversions.

The 7s can be widened, but you're much more limited with what you can do.
