Source for Center tunnel sheet metal?

Picked up a 71T coupe this weekend. Let's call her "blue" due to the Gemini Blue paint (what's let of it). Blue spent a lot of time in an outdoor storage in TX. Engine is seized - no worries it will be replaced. Brakes were free (??? Don't know how that happened???). Blue has zero rust on the underside of the car. Longs, floors, etc are quite nice for such storage conditions. However, Blue had a leaking rear window seal. Therefore Blue has no rear deck or seat pans to speak of. The other problem is that Blue sat on a hill with the rear of the car lower than the front. The rear 15" or so of the tunnel is perforated about 1/2" up from the floor due to the puddle.

Does anyone know a source for a center tunnel section? The 71 tunnel is different than a later car. I might have to install the full tunnel from a later car. The problem is getting a parts yard to cut it out cleanly.

I have the tunnel in stock. I can cut it out with part of the rear firewall is you need it. Give me a call for price and other details. I do know what tunnels are the same.

I am bringing this to the top again. Still searching for a tunnel section. I checked with EASY and they do not have one. I appreciate any leads. This is for a 1972 tub.

I have the rear section from a 73. It's cut off right behind the e brake. If that's enough, I can help you out. A little $ for the sawzall time and shipping and it's yours.

Kirk, Thank you for the generous offer. Unfortunately, I need the front section from the parking brake forward. I can splice it in.

The lower edges of the tunnel are gone from water pooling. I might have to section the lower half and make a new flange for it. Would be easier to just replace the entire tunnel while I have the floors out.

I have a 65 912 with exactly the same issue. I had to buy a whole tub to get a swb tunnel. Best of luck.
