FS: g50 'shortened' to fit pre-964 911s and all parts.

    *** Updated: Pictures below...

Decided to sell the Porsche parts hoard...

    First up:

    G50 and related bits:
    $7000.

Buyer covers shipping. Stuff is ready to ship. Its at TLG in SoCal.

*** I paid TLG $600 to inspect this before I bought it. Tony found no issues. Should bolt in. Go to Patrick racing and add up how much all these parts would cost individually.

This gearbox (87-89) has been "shortened" (Patrick MotorSports?) to fit pre-964 911s with very minor modifications to clear the torsion bar tube.

    - G50-01 open dif 5-speed gearbox with aluminum gearbox mount, clutch slave cylinder/flex hose and elec. speedo sensor. From factory specs, the gear ratios are as follows:
    1st, 3.500:1
    2nd, 2.059
    3rd, 1.409
    4th, 1.125
    5th, 0.889
    Final drive is 3.44:1

    Other matching package parts include:
    - Starter ring gear
    - Bosch starter motor
    - Sachs 240mm Turbo racing aluminum pressure plate (11.95 lbs). Sachs Race Engineering, part no. 88 3083 999 574. TYP GMFZ 240
    - Turbo clutch disc w/TO bearing.
    - 3.2/G50 conversion 240mm flywheel/pilot bearing. Clutch/flywheel package looks relatively new (excellent condition).
    - G50 Shifter assy
    - G50 Shift tube
    - G50 Shift coupler
    - G50 pedal assy. with clutch master cylinder
    - Dual fluid reservoir w/mount bracket for brake and clutch circuits
    - Flywheel.

I will email pics to those who PM and/ or post here.

    Thanks!

Please PM me if you want this set up. I have had a couple folks so far express interest but still for sale.

For reference sake just a g50 in this kind of condition is worth easily $5k based on the recent sales (on the other sites).

    Off to ebay soon....
