    1972 Protection Plate Question

What is the correct part number for the protection plate for a 1972 with the 62 litre fuel tank? Porsche Classic catalog indicates p/n 911 341 161 02 but then on PET the p/n comes up as 911 341 161 01

    Which is the correct p/n?

Neither of these p/n appears to be available yet on another thread Marek seems to show that he has made a batch for Porsche. Has anyone been able to source these?

Can anyone help? My original plate has been bent, twisted and beaten into oblivion....

The 02 part is probably a superseded number, if you order the correct original 1972 number from Porsche they will send you whatever the latest part # is. I think Marek is just making the pan for the 85 liter tanks. I should think you could certainly find a good used pan from one of the Porsche salvage yards, like EASY, or Tom Butler at 1394 racing.
