    Help sporto gear problem

    Hello
    i 'm restoring a 911 L 1967 sportomatic MY68.
i have a problem with the gear. i changed the clutch and pressure plate, the clutch realease bearing, all the seals and the synchroniser rings.
the 1st and the rear gears don't work, the others work.
i can change the 1st and the rear if the the motor is off.

Based on a french Forum :
    911 L 1968 - Sporto
While the engine is on at idle, all the gears can get engaged, but the 1st and the reverse. While the engine is off (turned off) the 1st and reverse can get engaged smoothly.

I do not know the sporto, as a Vulcan coud it be anything with the fact that the reverse and 1st gears have not synchro ? Therefore the mecanism to engage those is not working properly, meaning the issue is not with the sporto(clutch) system but rather within the gearbox, as the other synchro gears are ok ?

    my 2 cents.

I meant there is no syncrho at all for reverse and 1st, so the mecanism to engage the 1st and reverse are maybe faulty ?
