Leistritz muffler date coded 7/78 in excellent condition. It has been bead blasted down to bare metal and refinished in VHT SP104 flat grey.

Asking $865 including shipping and full insurance in the Continental US or make an offer.

    Thanks,

I thought the muffler changed after 74? With the changes, I thought the exhaust tip needed to be relocated for it to fit 69-73 cars.

You're correct- the tailpipe exit changed with the big bumper cars. This is a 1965 through 1973 muffler that was manufactured in July of 1978.

Mike- The way you handled this sale was horrible. You list it three times and never reply to anyone. I waited a week to hear from you after multiple pm's and you advice today it was sold. I hope you treat people better next time or this information will get out to the public and no one will buy from you.

    What a mess!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At least it wasn't a Ponzi scheme; selling the same part 5 times.

I think you have mistaken me for someone else on this board. The only time I have listed this muffler for sale was on 6-8-2013 at 3:46 PM. The first PM I received was shortly after that and the buyer and I agreed on a price.

If you will ask around, you will find that I am a straight shooter when it comes to selling parts on this forum. I don't play games and the parts are always as described.
