    VIN # info

    Hello,

    I have a friend that wants to buy a 911S targa. Chassis number is correct in the documentation but was re-stamped after an accident. Is there any way of checking about this car past?

    The car is in Spain.

    What do you mean by restamped? Is the new # 13xxx or 01xxxxx? I can help to figure this out. Photos are very useful.

    A new VIN...no online info readily available... not in Early S database...a very early '72 S Targa...
