    FS: Early 901 5spd Transmission Nadella

    Selling an early 901 5psd transmission. This unit was rebuilt and is clean. Asking 800 plus shipping from Northern California.

    Robert,

    The only issue with fitting an earlier transmission to your car will be axle attachment.
    The transmission pictured has 4-bolt Nadella axle flanges, while a '68 912 will likely have 6-bolt Löbro CV joints.
    The cost to convert a Nadella transmission to Löbro flanges is a few hundred US$, although the Nadella parts removed have value too.
    Otherwise it would be a direct fit, aside from some front mount hardware.
