    FS: Beige door panels 911/912

A couple of years ago I was searching for beige (not tan) door panels in vinyl for my '68 912. Rarer than hens teeth so I was buying up whatever I could find in the basket weave with the hopes of getting enough material to have somebody like Tony Garcia make me up a pair of panels. Since color is always a question, I bought whatever I could find. These turned out to be a little darker than '67/'68 beige. I think they are '69 to '72 panels. Problem was further complicated since Porsche listed beige/tan/brown/red/black as possible colors. Have also seen fawn used as a color descriptive. I also have some "white cum ivory" upholstery which comes close to beige.

Finally, got Desser repro sports seat in leather. Asked them to do in beige vinyl and run some extra material for door cards. Said that beige vinyl was "unobtanium" but could do exact match in leather where they could actually roll/press basket weave. Came out nice.

These are a little darker in color than what Desser matched so I don't want to mislead anyone into thinking the material could be used in SWB. I'll leave it to LWB gurus to determine if
they need them. Nice condition. Need to be cleaned up. $125.00 plus shipping for the pair. Will take PayPal and I'll eat the PayPal fee.

Got some panels that I'll post in near future to see if somebody needs them.

Would love to see pics of your new seats and door cards. What car are you running? How odd you handle the seatbelts?
