My 72T is coming from the seller with factory 6X15 Fuchs and BF Goodrich 185-65R/15 tires. What is the +0 for these wheels? I want to go a bit wider while retaining a similar look. Thanks in advance.

I like the look of 195 X 65 tires, slightly wider but still look vintage "tall"

Got rid of the very "aged" 185's on my 15x6's. The 205/60/R15 work very well for my street driving.

I prefer the 185s these days, but am with Ed: the 195/65 look great. I've had 205s and they look a little "bulgy" to me.

When I bought my car it came with 205s. I found the handling a little heavy and they rubbed in the front. I also didn't think the look was quite right for an early 911 . . . bit "bloated".
Finding correct 185/70-15s is not easy. There are really only three choices: Michelin XWX (very expensive), Vredstein Sprints (bit cheap and nasty . . . "well, they keep the car up off the road," a UK tyre guy told me), or the Avon CR6ZZ.
I went for the Avons, a road legal competition tyre with a price point that sits between the others. It's a British tyre and has lots of fans on DDK.
I did consider moving up to the closest "modern" tyre alternative, 195/65, but the range available in Australia is very limited. A set of Pilot Exalto A/S from Tire Rack might be a good option if you wanted to go with 195/65.

Did you buy the Avons here or bring them in from the UK?

Clyde, I got them in Australia. Gordon Leven Motorsport Tyres (near Eastern Creek raceway) had them in stock.

Anyone who says that about Vredesteins has never driven on them. That statement is false, libelous horsesh*t.
Vredesteins are competent, progressive, and inexpensive. Best of all, they don't wear out after 7K miles.
If my little 2L Solex car on 165 Vredesteins can keep up with big motors and modern tires on the tight and twisties, they can't be that bad.
I'd rather have the CR6ZZ or TB15s (another great option) on most cars, but the Vredesteins are a GOOD tire.

Doesn't Vredesteins use "modern rubber" these days or they still use 1967 rubber compound formula?
