    Mystery for the air cleaner police: what is this?

    These images were sent to me by the owner who was looking for background info. He got it with a bunch o parts.

    My contact at the Porsche factory has not seen anything like it.

    I thought I'd turn this over to the braintrust here. Obviously not custom but factory-built...

    It's from an early 66 - mid 66 911 w/ webers.

    That's kinda what I figured: at the transition to Webers, they'd want to alert folks not to try to use filters for Solex cleaners.
