Early S on Fast 'N Loud tonight

If you haven't watched this show it has some reasonably amusing dialog mixed in with some absolutely dynamic and riveting reality TV moments. (eye roll)
Supposedly they buy a '67 S on tonights episode. I am sure most already have their DVR's set to record this, so this reminder probably isn't necessary.

Exactly. I'm still amused (amazed) that people don't realize that model year XX cars have been produced during the last few months of the prior year for decades, both European and American. "Wow, we have a '66 911S, it's worth twice as much $$". This is supposed to be a car show, about cars, by knowlegable car people. Disappointing.

and there is the problem. these two j-offs have been running all over the country for years promoting themselves at hot rod shows and making a buck by selling Gas Monkey junk....err " shwag " out of a van until they got this t.v. show. The level of " expertise " is very questionable IMHO, and the level of work is quite sub par. I point to 2 recent episodes as examples/

1 : 32 Ford 5 window. A car that is almost impossible to lose money on....yet these two doofuses did

2: A friend of mine told me about the recent purchase of a totalled F40 for 400,000. I immediately ( without seeing the car ) told him they f-ed up. Last week I saw the first episode where they started the repair to said wreck. By the end of the episode they were 600K into a million -1.5 mill dollar car ( in perfect unwrecked condition ) and it was still on the bench needing more pulling. I watched the bearded monkey HEAT a F40 frame to straighten it. I then watched the bearded monkey glob a bunch of MIG wire onto a nicely coped joint to make the repair.

They now will have a totalled, bastardized F-40 that has been all over the t.v. and interweb for sale for ?????? Sure, on the show they MAY show them making out o.k., but in reality this was one of the dumbest " flips " I have seen attempted

    Stick to 1968 Camaros Monkees
