    Bumper weights changing hands for money will never cease to amaze me.

    I use these to keep the EZ-UP from flying away.

    I dont think he's knockin' you for buying the weights. I think he is just commenting that it amazes him that what was considered disposable in the past is gold today. a good similarity would be in smog pumps on 68 912s.. no one wanted them ever because they would be disastrous to the engines.. but people pay big bucks today for what others consider paper weights because they want the engine to have the correct set up for concourse etc..

    Actually I'm amazed someone hasn't repro'd them yet. Then again, being lead it's probably a hazardous material issue.
