What years were the bumper weights used?

I'm in the process of a full resto on my 1968 911S. I'm curious what years were the bumper weights used?

    Thanks
    Larry

Silly question, but where exactly do you find the weights?

I would assume they would have needed them on all SWB models and stopped using them when they went to LWB
