Seems well done, but perhaps too inexpensive for a complete rebuild?--It has the rear oil filler not the front flapper, new factory pans and how does one verify that the shop was high end--Do a PPI on a restored car?
The seller goes by Frenchblue and has sold cars out of Miami but w/o any e-bay feedback, another puzzle (currently listing on e-bay is a 912 SWT).
    Comments and advise welcomed
    Thanks

    First,
ABSOLUTELY do a PPI at a shop not affiliated with the auction or car.
I see several small issues with the car, but a PPI is necessary to fully understand the quality of the "restoration".
    Where's the MFI????
You'll also want a big binder of information covering the engine rebuild and metalwork.
There's "restoration" and then there's RESTORATION, if you get what I'm saying.

    Good luck!

They did a lot of work to it, but the quality of the work? Do not pay a penny without having somebody who's very knowledgeable go through it.

Odd that it doesn't have headrests. And as Kent mentioned, MFI is missing (some '72s were carbureted, but not this one because the 5th VIN digit is 1 not 5).

Cost summary on rebuild is scrambled, making it hard to read, but looks okay. You can negate all the good subbed-out work with a poor reassembly, though. PPI is critical here, especially for a car at this price level.

The picture of the new floor pan on the 911 and 912 are the same. Smells fishy. Mfi bar for weber setup. The license plate on the 912 is from Wasginton State. Wassup with 'dat? Ain't he fron Florida? Maybe consignment for someone in Washington?

And there are no mounting holes for headrests, MFI and most interesting, the oil filler is still in rear--thought all '72s had the 'flapper'
