    Whereabouts: Engine # 6123044 from 1972 T 9112101940

I just picked up my 72T yesterday afternoon from KMW Motorsports. It came with a 77 2.7L engine ( #6272418) and Weber carbs. It also came with the CoA showing that the original engine was a 2.4 # 6123044. Has anyone read about or seen this engine? I'm trying to get as much info about the new car as much as possible.
    Thanks in advance.

You might want to ask on Pelican Parts, maybe? Also, there aren't too many long hoods down here in S. Florida. Did the car spend any time down here? Have you asked any of the local shops?

I took my car to KMW recently. I was happy to find him, and thankful for the recommendation which came through here.

Peanut, I've been using Kevin's shop since I got the 87. He is the only one who works on my cars; I sure will miss h and the guys when I move to the Philadelphia area in July.
Daisy has spent most of her life in Seattle and Colorado.
We will be at the PCA Porsches and Pancakes the first Saturday in July. Usually we go to the one in Boca, but this time we are going to the breakfast in Ft. Lauderdale which is at the Jet Runway age, which I heard is really good...9AM. Hope to see you there; it is the last breakfast with the group for us.
