    FS: Soft window Targa parts

Many early soft window Targa's were converted to hard glass at some point in their life. With originality becoming more and more important, I have the original parts to bring it back. I bought these off the board here a couple years ago for a customer and he sold the car. I'm selling them for what I paid 2 years ago. You get both bars, both handles, (with great chrome), and the 2 pieces of trim that go around the outside of the Targa bar. I won't split up the package. $2975 + real shipping. and 3% if using PP.
Tony at Autobaun has a great price for the soft window, and the quality is good. The minor hardware can be bought anywhere.

Just asking. Are these ALL of the parts that one would need to convert back from a Hard window? What about the trim around the entire window? I understand that the "soft goods" can be had an a few locations. I am talking about the hard goods. Please let me know. Thanks

There is a big rubber seal around the targa bar. To answer your question, this is all the unavailable hard parts. Of course there is the window/canvas,but that is available.

I'll take these. Can't imagine how hard it will be to find another set should I ever need it.

Sold to someone who contacted me a few hours ago. Wish I had more, I hate it when this happens.

to answer a previous question re: whether this is "all" of the parts to convert, i am no expert, and i do not claim complete knowledge, but i thkink the interior liner of the targa bar has to have the cut-outs for the tensioning handles. the cars that had the hard-window didn't have the cut-outs in the interior liner. it's more involved than just removing the glass and inserting a soft window. please correct me if i am wrong.

The post was targeted to those who have a soft window, and was changed to a hard window at some point. And now want to go back to original. That was the case of the buyer.
