    Side stripe decals

When were the "PORSCHE" side stripes introduced. I have a '67 911S Targa. I am restoring the car to its original white/black color, but would like to stripe it if it was available originally.

Thank you very much. I am new to the forum, although not to 911's or 356's. This is a great source of information.

The 1967 models didn't offer them. Maybe '68 was the first year. Our '70 E had them, but they looked goofy, so I took them off with a hair dryer in 1973.

I don't blame you Frank, I blame the hair dryer.
