73S- Adjusting for clutch free play and ...

I found the inner adjusting nut is almost all the way to the inner end of the cable ... does this mean needs new clutch? Stretched clutch cable?

You are on the right track. Before changing the clutch look at the other stuff. The arm at the clutch pedal end goes bad at the hook and like you said, the cable. Also look at the bowden tube and the other mounts by the trans. Hopefully it is a cable, they are the best to change out of the lot.

Thanks Harvey. That's the way I'm thinking. Stretched cable? No problem .... I'll take one of those any day-
